Packaging materials solutions at INTERPACK 2017 in Düsseldorf

“Mottainai” is a Japanese term to express regret regarding waste, which became famous with Kenyan environmentalist and Nobel Prize winner, Ms. Wangari Maathai. As a Japanese company, Asahi Kasei shares the same philosophy as we reduce food waste with our technologies.

Now we are pleased to announce that Asahi Kasei Corporation and Asahi Kasei Europe GmbH will be exhibiting at INTERPACK 2017, held from May 4-10 in Düsseldorf, Germany, in order to introduce our solutions.

Barrioflex ^TM Premium Barrier Film is one of the innovations on display. This special film extends the shelf life of food to ensure food safety and reduce food waste with its excellent barrier properties.
